Day 187: Bob is up early but I sleep until 7:15. We shower, have the complementary breakfast and go out to do errands. First, a Starbucks coffee. Then we pick up a few supplies and some more detailed maps. We check out a large Sam’s Club store for tires and decide to get them. The price is quite good and they will install them in the next hour and a half. We purchase a membership and then we go for lunch.
We pick up our car and the new tires are great. We go back to the motel and mark the route on these more detailed maps. There is wireless internet available in the office. The system was struck by lightning a few weeks ago and they are still working out the bugs.
We make dinner in the room kitchen. We have two TVs to watch so we choose different programs and then we go to bed at 10:00. This is a very comfortable room.
